Comforting Hands Health Agency was started by people who have sat in living rooms across the country, watching families try to coordinate care for someone they love. The mission has not changed since: place the right caregiver, with the right family, for the long term.
Most staffing firms in this industry work on volume. Bigger pipelines, more bookings, more turnover. We work the opposite way. We deliberately keep client lists smaller than capacity so every single placement gets the time it needs.
That decision shapes everything else. We do longer phone screens. We pick up the phone for reference checks instead of sending a form. We fly to family meetings when the situation needs it. And we follow up at week one, month one and month three because that is where most placements quietly fail.
Across the portfolio we focus on permanent direct-hire roles. That makes us a poor fit for last-minute shift gaps, and a strong fit for organisations and families looking to add someone who will stay.
You will not be passed between a sales person, an account manager and a delivery recruiter. The person you speak to first is the person you speak to on the day a candidate starts. It keeps context in one place and accountability where it belongs.
We place caregivers in every US state. Our office is in Poughkeepsie, New York, but the network we maintain is national, and most placements are coordinated remotely with on-site visits where they help.
